I’m Adam, an older brother, a dog lover, an epic gamer, a musician, and an overall thoughtful person looking forward to try and make change and succeed. In my blog I’ll share with you everything about me, and my favorite things. So welcome to me!
My Favorite Quote
“Time and space are modes by which we think and not conditions in which we live.”
– Albert Einstein
I chose this quote because of the deep impact it infers, because this statement caused me much revelation when I saw it. It just made me wonder about anything and everything, bringing a whole new plane of thought to what I had previously come to terms with on this quote’s mind blowing topic. So definitely my all time favorite.
My Favorite YouTube Clip
My favorite YouTube clip, “When Earth Was In Beta”, is probably my favorite video because of multiple aspects. Some of these are how the narrator used a different perspective on earth’s history through a video game format to make things more interesting; and how the video still manages to keep the proper information while retaining audience attention in a fun way. This unique style led this video to being my number one.
A Photo that has Impacted Me
This photo of my dog Harold is one of the best photos I have. To others that might barely or not know him at all, this would seem like just some ordinary dog photo, but to me it’s a story filled with all sorts of emotions. This impacted me so much because my dog is such an important part of my life to me, so it would be a shame not to include this monumental picture, at least to me.
My Favorite Website
Shapez.io is definitely my favorite website, because to me being creative and exploring all the possibilities that could succeed is incredibly entertaining and fun. So although there might be letdowns when you fail to build a working contraption, or spend hours to just end up failing, that just makes that feeling of victory when you get something working to be so much better.
The History of My Birthday
I didn’t expect the multitude of things that happened on my birthday, but many events occurred. Some of these are:
- 1071, Turks defeat the Byzantine army under Emperor Romanus IV at Manzikert, Eastern Turkey
- 1429, Joan of Arc makes a triumphant entry into Paris
- 1789, The Constituent Assembly in Versailles, France, approves the final version of the Declaration of Human Rights
- 1940, German Luftwaffe initiates big raids against British airfields
- 1999, Russia begins the Second Chechen War
