Quarter 3 Proud Project – Côte d’Ivoire

During my French class in quarter 3 I had to construct a PowerPoint about a French speaking country, which brought into being my project on Côte d’Ivoire, or Ivory Coast. My PowerPoint has 5 different slides about geography, history, celebrations, foods, and a proverb from Ivory Coast. I’m proud of this project more than my other ones last quarter because of how well it turned out. I loved the look of every slide, and even learned new vocabulary in the making of it. Overall this project was great to create and is a ten out of ten for me.

Quarter 2 Proud Project – Electronics Nerve Tester

During quarter two I spent a lot of my time working on a project in electronics called the “Nerve Tester”. It took me much longer than expected by myself and my teacher, and I had to trouble shoot it countless times. The project is supposed to give you a small shock or turn on a light when activated, mine only did one of those. The reason I’m proud of this project is because I completed it in the end and learned tons of information about electronics while working on it. If I had succeeded on my first try I wouldn’t have learned nearly as much as I did after all those troubleshoots, so that’s why I’m so proud of it.

My Math 9 Brochure Project

During Q1, I made brochures about exponents and rational numbers for a project. These brochures explained the rules and classifications of both rational numbers and exponents. I’m proud of this project because I put all my effort into them to get the best results. I’m mostly proud not of my final result, but of the challenges I solved along the way, creating the brochures; this is because I had to overcome many difficult problems, like aligning and putting together the printed brochures. But my work paid off, as in the end I had created two visually pleasing brochures, and a great mark.
