I heard the saw cutting the tile into separate pieces, I saw the tile being applied to the fireplace wall, and I felt the vibrations of the saw on my feet.

  1. What about the environment would motivate you to wake up every day to attend work?

I think that being on your own schedule and not having to work for someone else would be a good motivation because you can decide when to come to work and not have to come to work at the same time every day.

  1. What about the work environment would discourage you from waking up every day to attend work?

The work environment is very dirty and there is a lot of dust when cutting objects in place. As an example, when cutting the stone there gets a lot of dust in the air and it is not the best to inhale. Another example is when you work for yourself you must work twice as hard, and you’re not always guaranteed to get paid if there is no work to be done.

  1. What is ONE thing you found interesting about your workplace visit?

Something I found super interesting is the amount of stuff that was in the workplace. Right now, the job is tilling a fireplace and there are stones all over the floor. I also found that the way you apply the tile is cool because I have never seen that before. `
