Trip To The EA Headquarters in Vancouver.

Today on Nov 2 2022 I went to my dads work with my friend kai. My dad works at EA Vancouver as a software engineer (solutions architect) in Burnaby which was a 40 min drive from my house. When we arrived to the studio it was very big and we took some pictures.

   ( Main Entrance)

When we entered I could hear the workers taking to each other very enthusiastically, it felt like people who worked there were very close to each other. Soon we made it to the offices and I could see many empty desk spots which was due to people working from home, there were also lots of vacant pc’s, monitors and consoles lying all around the building. At some parts of the tour I could smell a coffee scent which on every floor employees are free to pour coffee at the coffee stations to help them focus or stay awake. I could feel the keyboard when I was testing out on my dads computer which was very nice. I would be motivated everyday to work here everyday because of the friendly environment with all the workers being so nice. Another reason why I would be motivated to work at EA is because of how big it is and how many activities you can do to calm down like playing at the arcade, working out at the gym, playing soccer on the huge field, eating at the food area, and more. All of those things can really help relief stress after working for long periods and were pretty fun to do. Overall the trip to EA was very interesting and I learned lots.
