Hi!

Hi, my name is Ema and I’m a grade 9 student here at CBSS. I’m an avid theatre kid that performs everywhere, and I enjoy what I do. I also sang the anthem for the Canucks (NHL). I’d be happy if you gave it a listen! I might give the most random facts here and there and keep y’all updating on what I’m doing in Life. 🙂

“If you don’t notice my absence, then my presence has no meaning” I think this quote is important because it shows the value of people in everyday life.

This video is from TED-ED and is one of the many very interesting riddles that they offer. The reason why I like them so much is because they are complex and hard to think out, and I myself have solved quite a few. However they are not for everyone so go on ahead and see if you can solve the ruby riddle!

This is my headshot that I took in early 2020. I use it for acting auditions and it is one of the best ones I had. When I look back at my acting career I like to look at my headshots and it is a good reminder for me too keep trying hard and performing my very best at what I do.

I discovered that an article was written about me titled Ema Lake: An Emerging Talent. It is about the time I performed in Greenwood BC, and it was it’s 75th anniversary of internment camps of Japanese Canadians during the 2nd world war. I was 8 when I performed there and it was an excellent experience. I sang 6 songs in the smallest town in Canada. I really liked this experience because this is when the amount of performances I started doing, increased.
