The article claims that three people died in a heli ski helicopter crash in Northern British Columba on Monday afternoon. Three people were killed when one of its aircraft crashed in the mountains north of Terrace, sometime around 4 p.m.
I searched Snopes, but to no avail. It must have been that this article was just was too recent to fact check. There was no listing on Snopes covering this Topic.
I did search this on google in general and found that CityNews Vancouver claimed that the deaths of those three were confirmed.
I copied the URL on the picture and pasted it into the TinEye search engiene. There were no results, probably because it was from one of many camera angles. I will get to this in a moment.
There were plenty of News articles covering this topic. There were many different sources. Global News, CBC, CTV, CityNews, Times colonist, Vancouver Sun etc.
Global News is a big news source that has their own channel on television and on Youtube.
Ad Fontes Media rates Global News in the Middle category of bias and as Reliable, Analysis/Fact Reporting in terms of reliability. Ad Fontes is a website that rates News by their reputation and their recorded bias.
Global news is a relatively reputable source for News and information.
Overall, my consensus is that this article is not a hoax or fake news since there were multiple news brands reporting on it, though it is still not confirmed. There is no logical way that the ski resort would fake these deaths since that would leave a bad impression on their brand, and I doubt it would be a hoax if the ski resort confirmed the deaths.
