In my semester 1 English class, we had a unit in which every student was required to write two slam poems to learn about figurative speech and freestyle poetry. This was my first time writing slam poems, and poetry is not my best subject, so I am pretty satisfied with the mark I got for them (I won’t disclose the mark here, for privacy reasons). The first one is about optimism, and the second one is about the story of the cat in the Chinese Zodiac Signs.
