My partner Sarah and I identified this problem: People who are deaf cannot answer the door because they can’t hear people ringing the doorbell. We explored different methods other people have tried to solve this problem. Some were people connecting their phone to the doorbell, and a video/camera of people at the door. Out of the different choices of the different micro-bits, are materials include a loudness sensor LED lights and maybe a vibration sensor if time lets us. We can put the loudness sensor by the doorbell speaker, which will be connected to the LED lights that will flash when the loudness sensor senses sound (the doorbell).
