Guidelines to Commenting

Welcome to my blog, as this will be my first post on this blog I would like to lay down some guidelines for the future.

You are welcome to comment on any of my posts, I encourage it and would love to hear your feedback. Keep in mind however the following:

-Your comment should be made after you’ve read the post and the existing comments. Add to the conversation.

Comments for the sake of commenting benefits no one. If you are to be a part of the discussion please add or elaborate on a point in the post or in another’s comment.

-Your comment should be at LEAST two sentences, more is definitely encouraged.

I believe that with less than two sentences, no one can convey a solid point. Elaborating on your main idea or commenting on differnt parts of a post is encouraged.

-You should have basic grammar present while commenting.

While I’ll definitely not ban you from using contractions (since I definitely do), nor will I lash out due to a misplaced comma. A comprehensible comment is definitely required. Since you have the time to comment I’m sure you have time to search up a word you’re not sure how to spell.

-You should treat others the way you want to be treated.

This blog should be a safe place for everyone to speak their mind. Agreeing with others isn’t required but a basic respect for them is. Keep anything hateful to yourself so that everyone can have a good time please.

That’s the main four rules I’d like everyone to keep in mind, I thank you for reading this. Have fun commenting!
