In second semester of grade 12, I have improved in my communication skills, due to my volunteering with Wildlife Rescue Association of BC. Throughout my days in the wildlife rescue, I have fed varieties of species of birds, cleaned and prepped habitats, and worked alongside animal lovers. When I was working with others, I knew that I needed to communicate my tasks and questions I had to my peers in order to have an organized system, and since I was open to communicating, this made me more approachable and I could pass my knowledge down to the newer members. Due to my need of communication, I was able to help my peers, communicate my needs, and develop better communication skills.
