My quarter 3 proud assignement

In french we recently read a book called “La route de Chlifa”. Shortly after finishing the book, we were told to write a composition about a problem in our world that gets mentioned in the book. I chose to talk about religion and how it affects our society. This was the most effort I’ve spent on a single assignment during this quarter. I am very confident that I did well on this assignment. I haven’t gotten it marked yet but I’m sure I did well. I’m really proud of this because of the time I spent working on it and the amount the research I did.

Something I’m proud of

Last quarter I had my Science 9 and my English 9 classes. After the winter break, I had received an A in my English course and a C+ in my science course. I was disappointed in myself but I knew there was nothing I could’ve done. Because I had to quarantine for 2 weeks because one of my friends had contracted Covid. I missed a lot of school time in those 2 weeks and when the Chemistry quizzes came I was extremely unprepared and barely passed the course. After winter break, I knew I had to study hard for science cause I don’t want another C+. Thankfully now I would have science every day now so I had plenty of time to improve. I aced my physics unit and now I had an overall grade of B in science. I knew I could still do better and I wanted an A. My last unit was biology and she gave us a slideshow project. We had to make a slideshow movie of mitosis in all its different stages. She told us this project was worth as much as the final unit test. And to me, that meant a lot. Cause I was generally bad at biology so if I could do well on this project and only get a B on the test that would mean my grade would still get bumped up into an A. I worked hard to meet all the criteria of the project and got an A on the project and a B on the test. At the end of the quarter my English went down to a B, but my Science went from a C+ to an A.
