Quarter 3 Proud Assignment – DC Circuits

During the physics unit in science, we learned about the basic laws of electric current and using Ohm’s law to calculate the current, voltage, and resistance of a circuit. During this project, we built a 2 bedroom house with electric applications in each room. I also added a gym, a kitchen, an aquarium, an indoor golf course, a dining room, a living room, a garage, a patio, a washroom, an outdoor swimming pool, and a jacuzzi. Although this diagram couldn’t be used in real life because houses use AC electricity, it gave me a good understanding of how lights and resistors are arranged in a house. My initial sketch didn’t work out so I modified some of the paths and added resistors to make the current even. I was proud of this project because I learned to plan an electric circuit as well as using the falstad circuit simulator.
