I have not yet created my Microbit Project or tried it out, but I still have a couple ideas to make it better. Focusing on the design step, now I feel like I should include the automatic watering feature, of course, this would introduce some new problems such as waterproofing the Microbit’s holder and making sure that the water goes in the correct place. My original idea was to make the device a small box containing a Microbit, with red/yellow/green LED’s on top (indicating moisture level) and have the moisture sensor in the soil. I feel like this idea has flaws though. If I decide to go ahead and make it self-watering, I cannot have the device dangling, because the water may spill. My solution to this problem is to hook the box containing the Microbit onto the plant’s pot.
Could you also take 2 microbits so one could alert the other, like vibrate in your pocket?
