My idea for the Microbit project was to make a device that could indicate whether or not a plant has enough water. First, I identified the problem: forgetting when you last watered your plant. Second, I explored possible solutions such as: using a moisture sensor to determine if the plant needs watering, and once the Microbit has that information it could either indicate the moisture level or automatically water itself. I decided to make it indicate the moisture level in the design step. If there is little moisture, the LED will turn red, if it needs water soon, the yellow LED will turn on, if it is fine, it will turn on a green LED. I have not yet gotten to the creating, trying it out, and making it better process; although, I already have the materials to build it, and I can still improve the design process.
