For take your kid to work day, I went to my dads office, he works at binary stream and he is a technical product manager. I got to the office and was welcome by most of my dads coworkers, I saw my dads office, where coworkers work and even where the main office was. they showed me  the eating room and the lounge, then i got to work in my dad’s private office, they were super nice and welcoming. it was cool knowing what they make for Microsoft and how they do it! some coworkers showed me they own private office’s and what they do.

What I hear: I hear the heater on, I also hear the voices of other co–workers.  

What I see in the entrances: I see the main office, where people can sit down, et also eat or grab a coffee. 

 What I see in my dad’s office: I see the beautiful view from the window, like the trees, other buildings, I see a plant, the

 mountains in the background. I saw the certificate that my dad got. 

What I see outside of my dad’s office: I see some co-workers working hard in their offices.  I also see other offices.

What do I smell: it smells clean, and like hand sanitizer?  

What do I feel: clam, relaxed, joyful.

I would love a positive and welcoming environment, everyone is so nice to each other, we work together when we need to, everyone listens to people’s ideas. We encourage people to do their best. 

I would not like a negative environment where people don’t work together; people disagree with each other.  

I loved how welcoming the people were, how they showed me around. The only thing that surprised me was that not many people were working in the office. A lot of people choose to work from home.
