About Me

ALL ABOUT ME

My name is Natalie and I went to Citadel Middle School for three years before doing cross catchment to come to Charles Best. I like playing volleyball and doing basketball for fun because I can only shoot. I also did gymnastics for three years before I stopped to do track more.

What is Your Favorite Quote: “If you look at what you have in life, you’ll always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you’ll never have enough.” –Oprah Winfrey. I like this quote because it shows that everyone’s always going to have something someone else doesn’t and everyone’s always going to be wanting something someone else has. It’s just the way we think, constantly comparing ourselves to others. But we always forget that we have way more than other unfortunate people and we should be thinking about that rather than always wanting more.

What is Your Favorite YouTube Clip: I don’t have a favorite youtube video but I like this one. Rainy weather is most definitely my favorite type of weather. The sound is just so calming to me, like going to sleep while hearing a downpour in a thick blanket is heaven.

Find a Picture that has Impacted You: This picture of some damage caused by Hurricane Dorian in North Carolina has impacted me. I was born there and I’m sure it was a beautiful place before all the flooding and damage. It really is sad what’s happening there and all the people who have been affected, have to live with it and recover from it. I chose this photo because people here are so fortunate that things like this probably won’t happen as often or even at all.

What is Your Favorite Website: My favorite website is YouTube because although its used to watch almost any type of video I can also use it whenever I need to learn how to make something, find something or do something. I can easily search it up and find a video posted by other people to help. It has helped a lot especially with math problems. You can use it to learn random things that you probably won’t ever need to know or information that might be useful.

The History or Your Birthday:

On September 11, 2001 terrorists hijack four U.S. passenger airliners, flying two into the World Trade Center towers in New York and one into the Pentagon, killing thousands.

On September 11, Russia detonated a nano-bomb; dubbed the “Father of All Bombs,” the largest non-nuclear weapon developed to date.
