How has your awareness of Coast Salish Art in our community changed?

My awareness of Coast Salish Art has changed a lot. Before the lesson that I got I thought that the art looked nice but never really understood the meaning of it. Learning about the different shapes and there meaning as well as how each animal can represent a person in a different way for each person. Now whenever I notice coast Salish art around I will think about the deeper meaning. Overall it was very interesting to learn about Coash Salish Art and I will understand it a lot better moving forward.
