Spell and grammar correctly.

I believe that everyone who reads a comment should be able to read and comprehend what is being said. If it is in a different tongue, it is different.

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

 

Respect them by not demeaning them in any way, including by not putting them down.

Check out the article. Read every remark. Participate in the entire debate.

 

Read through the entire page or previous comments before posting one so you are aware of the situation.

Comments must contain at least 2 to 5 sentences.

 

Personally, I find it annoying when someone leaves a comment on a piece that feels like it might be 2 pages long. Keep the message brief and reasonable, or query to be direct, concise, and precise.
Example: “Hey, thanks for the tips and useful features for this,” I wrote in response to a Tech Review video on YouTube. “I’ve been looking to get this device since it has released. This video has made it clear to let me see how everything works, and all the features. But next time, could you possibly make another video on long term use, as this vid had you only using it for about three days.  Thank you, that would be fantastic!
