In our block 4 project we had to make a conversation with an influencer student or teacher in school. I choose a basketball player called Mary . I talked to her and  make a good video with her. because I am shy that is so hard for me to make a conversation with others but at this project I learned how to talk easier with others and make a good friendships.

I went to my mom’s workplace today, which is a small, cozy coffee shop on a quiet street. The moment I walked in, the smell of fresh coffee hit me—it was strong and slightly bitter, but comforting at the same time. There was a faint hint of something sweet, probably from the muffins baking in the kitchen. The place was simple but welcoming, with wooden tables, mismatched chairs, and soft music playing in the background. My mom handed me an apron, and I felt a little nervous but excited to help. She showed me how to scoop coffee into the machine and press the button to start brewing. The coffee grinder was loud, and the smell got even stronger as the beans were ground. Later, I helped her mix batter for cookies, and my arms got tired from stirring, but it was worth it when I saw them come out of the oven, golden and smelling like butter and chocolate. Some customers smiled and thanked me when I handed them their drinks, even though my mom did most of the work. It wasn’t easy, but I loved being part of her world for the day. I learned how to make my relation with people stronger and I learned how to make a good coffee.

1. What did you hear, see, smell, and feel in the work environment on Nov. 6th? Use details

I hear the people’s voices and coffee maker machines; I saw so many fridges and ovens to make and storage the cakes and coffee shop smells like coffee and different syrups, the coffee shop feel so positive for me because I love somewhere has coffee and food!

2. What about the environment would motivate you to wake up every day to attend work? Why?

One of the good motivations for work is to love your job, if you like your job you would like to wake up every morning and go to work, and of course the main reason and motivation for working is to earn money.

3. What about the work environment would discourage you from waking up every day to attend work? Why? All the employees have some problems with costumers because some customers complain so unfair about their coffee and you should make them happy, and I think its so hard to have problem with customers every single day.

4. What is ONE thing you found interesting about your workplace visit? Why?

The interesting thing about the workplace was their customer service because if customers do not like their coffee, they can get another free coffee!
