What is the overall topic and the goal of your project? My overall topic of my project is climate change because my goal is to make people aware of how serious climate change is and that our situation is getting worse if we don’t start taking action.

What sites did you use to collect your data and create the infographic and what did you learn about it? I used climate.gov, publichealthnewswire.org, noaa.gov, and canada.ca to collect my data and I used canva.com to create my infographic. What I learned about Canva is that people can visit it anytime to create posters, videos, presentations, etc. I also learned that it is a simple and straightforward site, so it’s easy to edit your projects.

How has the process of utilizing these sites impacted your understanding of how technology can change (or help) the world? I think using Canva is a great way to understand how technology can help the world, because it is an easy way to share your designs with other people, and there are no skills needed to create wonderful and outstanding projects.

Why is reading important?

Reading is a basic form of learning words and it can be taught at any age, whether you’re a teenager or a toddler. It can make writing easier because the more you read, your creativity can improve and it can also help you relax. For books, if we’re reading something that we particularly like, we would normally try to picture the scenes or people that the author is describing. Authors tend to make their stories as realistic and creative as possible because they want their readers to continue until the end. For stories that are related to history, we can learn about other people, their cultures and what they do in their daily lives if they are autobiographies. Reading can also help us at school. They help us improve our vocabulary and word recognition. But reading doesn’t necessarily help us with everything. For example, comprehension can be improved by speaking and listening, in that case, we can also socialize and participate in activities. Perhaps, attending book clubs would be useful, because it involves reading and talking. Reading about other people can also change our points of view of the world and we can develop more ideas. So we can be both creative and critical from just reading!

I passionate about reading because it is something that I can do during my free time. It can also help me with my creativity and release some stress from homework.

Basically, it’s about a star that was too close to a massive black hole and was ripped to shreds by the gravitational pull of the black hole. After that, the black hole released a huge amount of energy and set a jet of something across space, pointed at Earth.

Even though there wasn’t much evidence to find (because i’m really bad at wording to find the info.), i’d say that the information is true based on the blue checkmark beside the author, so I trust it.
