The topic for my project was the River Otter Beaver Trial. A trial of reintroducing beavers into the River Otter that started in 2015. My goal was to show the effects the beavers had on the river. Including both positive and negative effects as well as the local opinions on the reintroduction. I showed these effects with graphs as well as with writing. I went through the trial’s report and came up with categories to organize my project.
I used Canva to create an infographic poster to display my data. I knew nothing about Canva before the project, but after creating my poster I feel like I am proficient with Canva. Of course I also used the River Otter Beaver Trial report to collect my data. To find this report I used google scholar.
I think that Canva is a valuable tool and can help a lot. It’s easy and free to make projects and it allows you to create graphs. I feel like it can help with showcasing data or if you need to make a poster online. I now know that there are easy to use tools that can help me with school projects. Instead of always using a powerpoint or word document to show my projects. I now have another tool that I can use to add variety to my school projects.
