I can communicate confidently in all my classes for example, in fashion when doing presentations such as the Making A Difference project, Fashion Through The Decades, and The Fibers and Fabrics presentation. By presenting all these to the class I was able to highlight and demonstrate my learning abilities in fashion. In Media and Design, I communicate with my teacher and peers over website questions, how to use different software, and some presentations. We had one presentation where we had to explain our new website that we made and that was benifical to my learning. I normally ask questions when we are using tricky software such as Adobe or Figma. In textiles I communicate the most because I am often confused about the sewing process. Every class I need guidance to help me learn about different fabrics, seams, and the overall sewing process. Communicating is a huge part in my academic life whether that’s presenting or asking too many questions, and I appreciate the help and engaging with my peers. For future steps I can apply this knowledge for when I need to communicate in the workplace or in the classroom.

Im biology 12 we demonstrate critical and creative thinking in labs and projects. In labs it’s important that we communicate with eachother due to the different roles and responsibilities such as being the photographer, at least 2 people to dissect  and one person to help identify and read the instructions. It’s also important that we remain patient with eachother due to the fact that for our first dissection we didn’t have much expirence with it so we had to think together to figure this out. Dissecting can also be a sensitive issue with some people as well so we tried our best to keep everyone calm and force them to do thinks that they didn’t want to do. Creative thinking is also used in the class a lot due to the fact that we have to draw dissections as well as have a visual memory to remember different diagrams and structures. In this class it’s important to be creative so you can easily remember long and confusing words such as: cerebral spinal fluid. It’s important to come up with mnemonic devices as well.

Food Lab Plan- eggstraordinary copy copy

In foods class my teacher assigned the class to do a take home lab, expect you had to make a dish were egg was the main ingredient, i chose to make a sponge cake. This was my favourite assignment because i love to bake pretty much anything and this cake was also really good! I also loved doing this because it was something new! I had never made a sponge cake before and it was really fun to make something new for myself and my family! 😋 🧁 🥚

If you could not tell already this article that i chose is about how climate change is effecting polar bears and just any arctic animal.

steps that i took:

1. I obviously had to choose an article which was WWF on the cause of climate change with polar bears.

2. I went to snopes and i found a read about will polar bears be extinct by 2100?

3. After i read it and it was true that polar bears will go extinct very soon.

4. After i read the article i did a search box search and added Wikipedia at the end.

5. There was a ton of information and i found out a lot

6. Then i went to the custom website from Break the fake part 1

7. I found a lot of websites that gave me the information that i needed.

8. I went to Twitter to find a post about polar bears suffering in climate change. The video got over 9billion views and the creator also had a check mark by her name so we know that she’s legit. There was also a really sad video of a polar bear that made me cry.

9. To finally prove that polar bears going extinct i did a google news article. There were so many articles!

10. I did my judgment and i agree that polar bears being effected by climate change is true! Just look at all the information that i found and now i belive that we need to save the planet and have a good environment for the polar bears.
