Break the Fake II – Viral video of Evan Longoria Catching Foul Ball from Behind him and Saving Reporter.

1.This is the video I will be fact checking of Evan Longoria turning around at the last second and making an inhuman catch to save reporter. I will be trying to find out if this actually happened.

2.I went to their youtube but they didn’t have many followers and did not look like a channel that I can 100% believe in due to the lack of information on them. They also didn’t have a check mark beside their name. It doesn’t mean the video is fake but it means they’re not a source that can be fully trusted without proof.

3. I then went on snopes.com and searched for this video and I found that Snopes.com says that it is fake. They say that it was an ad made by Gillette in 2011 to promote their business. You can see the Gillette logo beside Evan Longoria’s head in the stands. Evan Longoria even admitted that it took 2 minutes and a hand held camera to film the video. So the video is fake.

4. I checked other reliable sources to verify what I found on Snopes.com by searching up “Evan Longoria catch Hoax” and got multiple news sources that are reliable telling me the same thing: that the catch was fake.

In conclusion this video was too good to be true and was fabricated on computers to look real.

Hockey

The amazing sport of Hockey and how its grown into the sport we know today. I personally love watching, playing, and practicing hockey with all my free time, it is incomparably fun to skate fast and to see the puck move from your stick to the back of the net.  Hockey has been a part of Canada for over a century and is one of the most thrilling, fast paced sports in the world. Since 1917 when it was founded in Montreal the NHL has reigned supreme in the world of hockey as the greatest hockey league in the world. Home to the greatest championship in all of hockey, the Stanley Cup. It was first introduced by Lord Stanley of Preston in 1892 who was the Governor General of Canada at the time to show his support for the sport, and it has grown in popularity ever since. The number of teams has grown rapidly to an astounding 31 teams in total competing against one another for the Stanley Cup with plans to have the Seattle Krakens be the 32nd team in the 2021-2022 season. That begs the question of when or if they have any plans to ever stop expanding.  The teams and certain players have gotten infamous reputations and the spectators love to watch the entertainment while picking favorite teams or even favorite players. In all Hockey has an interesting history and an astounding Hockey league.
