Guidelines for commenting on my blog

Thank you for visiting my blog. Please be respectful and mindful when you are commenting on my blog. I am outlining some guidelines when you are commenting on my blog

  • Treat people the way you want to be treated.
    • If you think the comment you gave was the type of comment you would like to receive from other readers, you are more than welcome to type it in the comment. If you can’t say the comment to me in person, you shouldn’t be writing the comment.
  • Read the article. Read all the comments. Be part of the full discussion.
    • No one should be commenting on someone’s blog unless you have read through the articles. Please read and watch any link that is in my blog before you give comments on my work.
  • No anchor text or keywords on the commenter’s name.
    • Comments are for readers to give comments on my blog, not boosting your blog or web rankings. The comment section is not for sharing information or ideas that do not contain in the blog.
  • Comments should be at least 2-5 sentences, not less.
    • I believe the comment should be at least 2-5 sentences so that all the information you want to be commenting on is included and it’s specific enough for me to understand what you want to say.

Sample: My blog on About Me

“Hi Daniel, thank you for sharing yourself. In the post, I learned what your hobbies are and what you enjoy doing. Your post was helpful for me to learn more about you. Something you can work on is editing. Your blog was enjoyable and I hope your next post would be out soon!”
