In English 9, we had to write an essay answering some highly detailed questions referring to a native New Zealand film which we watched in class, called Whale Rider.

I enjoyed this assignment, firstly because we got the opportunity to watch a movie in class, which we don’t really do very often, and even though I knew there was an essay to be written after we were done, I still enjoyed it. Secondly, I’m proud about this assignment because I devoted a lot of time, to write multiple drafts and to make it better every time. Plus, I’m proud of it, because my work paid off and I received an A.
