Clara Hughes

Clara Hughes began her addiction to skating 22 years ago when she was inspired by Gaétan Boucher, her confidence in Olympic speed skating. When she discovered the art of skating, she quickly became a big fan. Hughes was motivated to learn to practice speed skating herself. Hughes practiced speed skating and gradually improved her skills. For years she was also in cycling.
Years pass, Clara Hughes is in London, determined to win her sixth Olympic. 39-year-old, Clara Hughes is rematching with Cindy Klassen, a famous Canadian Olympian. After the competition Hughes placed in 6th, winning a bronze later. In the year 2006, Clara Hughes won a gold medal in the Turin Olympics. She courageously carried out a Canadian flag portraying the significance of Canada.

Clara Hughes made major changes in the history of speed skating Olympics by winning Olympic medals in both Summer and Winter.

Clara Hughes believes that if she is committed to trusting herself, she will win instead of focusing on the medal and winning.
