About Me

Welcome to my blog page. I hope you enjoy learning a little bit about some of my favourite things.

My name is Ryan and I live in Coquitlam BC. I previously attended Hillcrest Middle School. My passions are rock climbing, parkour, running, swimming and video games. I enjoy learning about aerospace and the automotive industry. I’d love to become a lawyer when I’m older.

My Favourite Quote: “It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.” Herman Melville.

I chose this quote because I agree it is important to be yourself and people should like you for who you are and not because you are copying others.

My Favorite YouTube Clip: I chose this video because I have been to London several times to visit my Grandad. Having spent many hours at Heathrow, I was always fascinated  by how it was able to run so smoothly. I found this series on YouTube and really enjoyed learning about the airport and all the people whose lives revolve around it.

My Favourite Picture that has Impacted me:  When I was around 10 years old I started rock climbing. For Christmas that year I got this poster and I have always found it motivational because it does not just relate to rock climbing, but all aspects of my life.

My Favorite Website: YouTube is my favourite website. You can find visual information on just about any topic you can imagine. Additionally, it has an amazing amount of entertainment, including tv shows and documentaries. Sometimes to unwind, I just enjoy watching funny videos.

The History of my Birthday: A few interesting events have taken place on my birthday. In 1864, during the American Civil War, Federal gunboats attacked, but did not capture Fort Gains, at the mouth of Mobile Bay, Alabama. In 1914, Germany declared war on France. In 1958, the first nuclear submarine, USS Nautilus, passed under the North Pole.
