I chose dog training for my assignment because I recently got a puppy, and its interesting how they act depending on the situation, and how you train them.

Dogs are great companions and protectors. They are loyal and can be trained to help you. Dogs can be trained to make a human’s life a bit easier, for example they can be service dogs, herding dogs, comfort dogs, and many more. It’s important for dogs to have a good relationship with their owners. A good way for dogs to communicate and interact with their owner is by training.  Dogs respond and communicate differently depending on their environment. Dogs that are used to different environments and situations are able to train better than dogs who aren’t because, they would be comfortable, whereas if the dog isn’t comfortable then he or she might feel unsafe and unable to respond to your commands as easily. There are many different types of training. It is most common to use positive reinforcement, which means whenever your dog does something correctly, you give them a reward, so they know next time that if they do something correctly, they get a treat. Dog training can be tough, but it is really fun after you see all the things your dog accomplished.
