Commenting Guidelines

Thank you for taking a look at my blog. Please be mindful of what you choose to comment on my posts. Here are some helpful guidelines on what to comment.

  1. Be polite.

– Be respectful and assume everyone will see your comment. You should be using appropriate language and being considerate.

2. Avoid sarcasm.

– You don’t want people to think that you are insensitive or disrespectful. Your comment may be seen as hurtful to another person.

3.  Think before you comment.

– Your comments will be on the internet for everyone to see. Do not type something you wouldn’t say in person.

4. Write comments that reflect on you in a positive way.

– Your comments display who you are as a person. You want people to think you are kind and supportive.

5.  Stay on topic.

– Write something related to the topic. If you write something irrelevant it will show you did not pay attention to the post.

Sample: My blog post about guitar.

“Hey Reese! Thanks for sharing your assignment. Your post was interesting and cool to hear about. I would love to hear you play sometime.”
