Intro
Hello world, my name is Noel, I’m in grade nine and in my school blog I will talk about some of my favorite things to do, some of my hobbies, stuff I am forced to write and other stuff that I feel like writing about.

The reason why I chose this quote is because first of all, this is a school blog and I feel like I should do something related to learning. I also feel like this is a suitable quote because a lot of teachers from my past have not been very including or instead of trying to teach the class something they will remember, they read the words strait from a textbook and with no emotion just read it back to me. I want teachers that are enthusiastic about their jobs and are excited to teach a class something new, a teacher that thinks of teaching as fun has a much more successful class than one that thinks of teaching as a boring job. I enjoy being involved in a class doing activities instead of listening to a speech. Of course, there has to be some reading from a textbook, but that shouldn’t be all that school is.

I chose this Youtube clip because it is a popular, interesting and school friendly channel that teach’s a number of different fun scientific topics that help the understanding of chemistry, biology, astrology and plenty of other sciences. I like this channel because it presents the information in a fun way that makes learning interesting. More specifically, this is the video I chose because it is my favorite video he has made. It is my favorite video because I had been curious as to how your eye colour was formed and how it came to be, this video satisfied my curiosity and taught me more in the process.

I chose this picture this picture because it represents Christmas which is very meaningful to me. Christmas is a special time for me because it has always been my favorite holiday. I enjoy it not only for the presents, but it’s also just a time where generally people are happier, and there’s a break from school. I have so many good memories of Christmas because we visit family every Christmas. My birthday is also on Christmas day, so that helps.

The reason why I chose this website is because it is a good news site that I like to read occasionally for fun. It is a good Scientific news site that is helpful to me for school projects because I consider it to be credible with condensed information that is easy to read. It is easy to cite because each page has proper formatting and a clear author. The article that was mentioned up top is only one of many new articles posted, but it’s a good example to present. I would highly suggest any reader to check it out and I hope it helps someone else for a school science project or maybe just for fun.
The history of my birthday
So, I entered my birthday into the site (December 25 if you didn’t read the other parts of this page) and surprise, it said that my birthday was on Christmas. Thanks random website, I didn’t know that. Anyways, I saw that I also shared a birthday with Rosa Luxemburg, who if you didn’t know founded what became the German communist party. I also share the birthday with Sir Isaac Newton, an English mathematician and scientist who enunciated the laws of motion and the law of gravity. There were some other people there but they weren’t important in my opinion. If you want to see it I’ve put it down below.
