Makayla and I’s idea for our micro bit was to create a buzzer that will go off in a room if music or sounds are too loud. This idea is hoped to prevent hearing damage. Our reasoning behind this idea was that there are people (mostly kids nowadays) that are being exposed to loud music at a dangerous volume or way too often. Teenagers could be affected due to speakers or headphones playing music too loud. Along with teens, older people, band teachers or musicians are exposed to loud music almost daily. To make our idea for this buzzer better, we need to find a song with a loud bass. We also need to make sure the volume set on the buzzer is the same on the speaker to test it out.
