Break the Fake II – Viral video of Evan Longoria Catching Foul Ball from Behind him and Saving Reporter.

1.This is the video I will be fact checking of Evan Longoria turning around at the last second and making an inhuman catch to save reporter. I will be trying to find out if this actually happened.

2.I went to their youtube but they didn’t have many followers and did not look like a channel that I can 100% believe in due to the lack of information on them. They also didn’t have a check mark beside their name. It doesn’t mean the video is fake but it means they’re not a source that can be fully trusted without proof.

3. I then went on snopes.com and searched for this video and I found that Snopes.com says that it is fake. They say that it was an ad made by Gillette in 2011 to promote their business. You can see the Gillette logo beside Evan Longoria’s head in the stands. Evan Longoria even admitted that it took 2 minutes and a hand held camera to film the video. So the video is fake.

4. I checked other reliable sources to verify what I found on Snopes.com by searching up “Evan Longoria catch Hoax” and got multiple news sources that are reliable telling me the same thing: that the catch was fake.

In conclusion this video was too good to be true and was fabricated on computers to look real.
