• How has your awareness of Coast Salish Art in our community changed? Be specific and give at least one example.

This Coast Salish art assignment has taught me how there’s lots of details that go into these indigenous art pieces unique to how the artists portrays it. I really like the way Coast Salish art uses unique shapes with meaning to give the viewer an understanding of the art piece and/or animal. Overall I really enjoyed creating my hummingbird art piece and would like to learn more in the future.
