My Infographic Topic was GDP Per Capita on average for every continent. I put every country in the world’s GDP per capita and found the average for each continent as well as the world average which I put in a graph + or – the world average of 10 925$. Europe, Asia, North America, and Oceania were over the average and South America and Africa were below the world average. Africa’s GDP per capita was about half of the world’s average.
Next, I decided to look at what happens if I remove the top 10% of countries by GDP per capita for each continent. I started with Asia and make an infographic for every continent removing the top 10% for each continent.

Final Project Reflection.
A: My overall goal for this project was to understand the wealth distribution throughout the world and to understand how wealth is concentrated at the top and how much the numbers decrease when I remove the top 10%.
B: I used Canva
To build my infographics I used Canva. I have used Canva since middle school but I had never used templates to start my design or used an infographic. Usually, I just used a blank poster for my designs but I used a template this time.
C: Technology can change the world by making it easier to understand and display data to the general public to teach them about problems by using numbers not just using empty assumptions. Technology can show problems in an easier way to understand and can be used to showcase problems to the world. If knowbody knows about the problems nothing will be done. If a problem is mainstream there will be more media coverage and more will be done. technology can help get problems into the mainstream.
