Hi, welcome to my blog.

My name is Rinwoo. I am a grade 9 student at Charles Best. I came to Canada two years ago from Korea. I like playing soccer and Valorant. I am in MetroFord division 1 soccer team. I used to play centerback. But, I changed my position to striker. My favorite subject is math. I am still learning English, so I feel difficult doing subjects that I have to use English a lot. But, in math, I don’t really have to use English. Also, in math, there is always an answer. In addition, I have a dog named coco. He is twelve years old. I used to spend a lot of time with him. But, now he is in Korea.

1) My Favorite Quote:

I like this quote because in my life, I had a lot of failures. And every time I failed, I thought about this quote and could keep going. It gives me an energy to stand up. Moreover, in soccer, the situation can be hopeless. But, there is always a chance if I don’t give up and keep trying.

2) Favorite YouTube Clip:

I like this clip because my favorite soccer player is Messi, and this was the final match. Since he didn’t have any World Cup trophies, this was the last chance for him to win the cup. He lost before in 2014, after a goal in 113th minute. On December 18th 2022, the most epic game of soccer was played. Messi scored first in 23rd minute. In the 36th minute, Argentina scored, making the score 2-0. But, Mbappe, a French player scored 2 goals in a 100 seconds. The score became 2-2. In extra time, Messi scored a goal in 107th minute. 11 minutes later, Mbappe scored one more goal, tying the game up. The winner will be decided by the penalty shootout. And Messi finally won the World Cup, winning the shootout 4-2.

3) Picture that has Impacted Me:

I like this picture because both teams are from Milan, and they are great rivals. Inter Milan and AC Milan are the greatest teams in Serie A, the Italian league. They were able to cooperate, even though the fans threw flares on the field. AC Milan’s goalkeeper was hit with a flare. This picture shows that they respected each other, even while being rivals.

4) Favorite Website:

My favorite website is 433. The reason why I like this website is that I can check almost every soccer match and state. I support Tottenham and this website is very helpful to check if they lost or won. Also, it gives me alarm about the matches that my supporting team played so I won’t forget.
