Favourite picture:
This is my favourite picture for many reasons. One of the reasons is it was passed down through generations and is special to my family. I also remember seeing it as a kid and imagining what is happening in the photo, what the ship is doing, where is it, could it be a pirate ship? The large elaborate brass frame is also really cool and I thought it was gold when I was younger. MY favourite part about it though is the sunset in the background. When light hits the painting it looks like the sun in the picture is glowing through the clouds and reflecting on the water, It all becomes so real looking.
