Social Responsibility

In Leadership 11, I helped lead an assembly for the grade 9s and 10s, which was an excellent example of social responsibility because I demonstrated that I can take initiative when needed. I have grown the most in my social responsibility competency because I became more confident when leading people and volunteering. Next, I will focus on developing my social responsibility competency by continuing to improve my leadership skills by volunteering more, taking initiative, and helping others.

Communication

In Leadership 11, I planned an assembly, which was an excellent example of communication because I demonstrated that I can communicate well with others. I have grown the most in my communication competency because I ensured with others what the plan for the assembly was and how we would achieve that. Next, I will focus on developing my communication competency by communicating with more people the make sure they are also aware of what the plan will be, and ways they can help contribute.

Creative Thinking

In English First People’s 11, I wrote a creative writing essay that displayed my creative thinking skills. I have grown the most in my creative writing competency because I demonstrated my ability to generate innovative ideas and think creatively in writing. This experience has been particularly rewarding, as it has allowed me to develop my creative thinking competency significantly. Next, I focus on developing my creative writing skills by exploring alternative creative approaches while simultaneously improving my grammar.
