Appropriate Comments

My blog is a place for me to showcase my work to the Charles Best community. Comments are available for kind and respectful words. The four guidelines I hold in my blog are as follows:

  • True. Necessary. Kind.

This means ask yourself, is what I am about to post true? Is it kind? And finally, is it necessary? If not, do not post it.

  • Appropriate use of language

This applies to the use of explicit language, please do not use language that you would not feel comfortable saying in front of another peer or teacher.

  • Description

When giving constructive criticism, be specific with the work. If it is not descriptive, I may not be able to use your feedback.

  • Respect

Be respectful of people’s work when entering anyone’s blog. If you are tempted to say something you will regret, leave the page.

Example: “Great work on the diary assignment! Maybe you could add more description into…”

This comment follows all of the outlined guidelines above.
