How has your awareness of Coast Salish Art in our community changed?

At first when I first saw Coast Salish art, I thought that it was random outlines of animals filled with random shapes. But in this assignment I learnt that every animal has its own symbol and meanings, I also found out that the unique shapes also have their own meanings hidden inside them. For example, A circle represents the heart of the animal, but it can also represent the joints.
