TOKTWD

For take your kid to work day I went to my dads work at the factor’s group, a company that makes supplements and vitamins. One thing that I heard was the large machines that were making the product. I saw all of the workers making and bottling pills and medication. I could smell the different flavors and the minerals that they put in the pills and tablets. We went to two different buildings, one which was the distribution plant where they receive and send materials and bottled product. The other plant we went to was the building where they make and bottle the product. In the first building the main thing we did was go to the warehouse where they kept all of the product that was going to be shipped. In the second building, we went around to see the different machines, and we saw where they make bottle the pills. My favorite activity was when we did taste testing for the different products like vitamin c gummies and shakes that had supplements and minerals in them. My favorite thing to taste was a vitamin c gummy that tasted like citrous fruits. The worst thing I tasted was the omega-3 fish oil that had a super terrible taste because they also added cotton candy flavor to it. The thing that would encourage me is the money, I don’t make any money because i don’t have a job, so knowing that i would be able to have a paycheck would be the main thing that would get me out of bed every morning. One thing that would discourage me is the distance, I do not have a car and it takes a very long time by bus to get there. One thing that surprised me was that you can start working at a very young age and it is much younger than I thought, but you also need a lot of different incenses to work in places like the warehouse where you are using big forklifts, and big machines to carry the pallets of pills. I did really like going to my dads job because it made me exited get a job in the future.
