Hello, this is a post about how I created my spirit animal and I am answering the question on this post,

The first step I took was to read most of the spirit animals and what they represent in a person. I found some animals that I found interesting and took a note of them. After I did the quiz on the back of my Spirit Animal packet and I got both bird and cat. I searched up cat spirit animal template but I was unable to find a good one so i decided to pick a bird that was given in the class which was a hawk. Some traits and qualities I share with my spirit animal is being observant, I am usually very focused and independent. In this process of learning about spirit animals, something I learned about myself during this assignment was that I am very focused because I would always finish what I needed to do before doing anything else. I also learned that I should be more aware of the messages I get in my life.

           In this blog, I will be researching and debunking some the the latest sports news. After searching I found an article from The Sun about a grim reaper found during King Charles’ coronation on May 6th, 2023. During the ceremony, only a handful of viewers had seen the cloaked figure with a scythe walking through the Westminster Abbey.

The video that they also sent in The Sun was a twitter video that someone took:

The first step I learned from the Break The Fake Notes was to look for the story on Snopes.com. I found the story on Snopes and they rated the story a “Miscaptioned”. It also wrote it as not present in the coronation.

My next step was to look into the reverse image search engine, tineye.com. I searched it on there and sent the photo’s to oldest, and there was no change in the picture.

Just to make sure this is fake, I searched the story on Google with “fake” at the end and look for a consensus from other sources. After searching the story I found dozens of articles about the reaper in King Charles’ coronation including Snopes, which is a reliable source.

After researching with the reverse image engine, googling for different sources, and finding the story on Snopes, the video and picture of the grim reaper in the King’s coronation is FAKE.

During Take Your Kid To Work Day, I went to my dad’s work. My dad is an IT specialist at Herschel, he helps with all things using technology and helps the websites. Today he had shown me around his office and also around the marketing team office, showroom, kitchen, lunchroom, other offices around the building. During my visit, i arrived in the building at around 9:00 am, I was following my dad around in meetings on zoom at 9:30. After finishing his check-up meeting he went downstairs to get a coffee and helped a coworker with their password problem. Most of the time he would answer emails during 10 to 12pm, for lunch we went to a restaurant for take-out. After we ate, he answered more work-emails and set up a password changer, then fixed a user from meta viewer. A few things I found interesting was that there was a dog named Fosco, they had a car with Halloween decorations and saw some new products that they have created. They have a showroom of all the different items that they will sell in the future.

Assignment 3A Questions:

1. What did you hear, see, smell, and feel in the work environment on Nov. 1st?

In the work environment on November 1st, I can hear background music and workers talking, I see many bags, laptops, and monitor screens. It smells like coffee and woodfrom the floor. The work environment feels welcoming and fun.

2. What about the environment would motivate you to wake up every day to attend work?

The co-workers are kind and there is nice background music that would motivate me to wake up every day to attend work.

3. What about the work environment would discourage you from waking up every day to attend work?

One thing about the work environment that would discourage me from waking up every day to attend work would be that some people work from home, but I would still have to work in the office.

4. What is ONE thing you found interesting about your workplace visit?

One thing I found interesting was that they have a showroom for all the new bags, clothes and other items that have not been released.
