Guidelines for Comments

Here are 4 guidelines for a positive way to comment that I would like to be followed when making comments on my Blogs:

Give people positive comments because everyone will appreciate when you give them a nice, meaningful comment, and will feel nice and more motivated to work harder. Giving the publisher a positive comment can increase their motivation and make their other posts in the future better.

Send important criticism in a positive way so that it can help them improve in their work while not feeling discouraged. It can make them understand your perspective of the post and could help improve a post for others.

Read and double check your comment, check for spelling errors, grammar mistakes and check if the comment is something negative. If the comment is not positive or useful to the poster, then don’t send it because it could end up hurting someone or a belief they have. By using proper grammar it helps making the post clearer and so many other people can understand.

Comments should always attribute to the post and make it better, which also continues the conversation from the writer and commenter. This should make it easier to make changes and have others have an easier time to understand what you are talking about.

An example of an appropriate comment would be: “Thank you for your opinion, I found this post very useful and helpful. A suggestion I have, would be to change the vocabulary and change the sections to make it easier for other readers to read.”
