Coast Salish Spirit Animal

For my spirit animal I have decided to draw a turtle and the steps I took to get there were reflecting on the qualities that resonate with me. I did a lot of research exploring the symbolism of a turtle and its many meanings. Another step that helped me decide on the turtle was reflecting on my own personal qualities and how they could relate to different animals. After reading and learning about the turtle I found out that it is a symbol of patience, resilience, wisdom, and its connection to water signifies emotional depth and intuition. I personally feel as though I relate to those traits but the one that really stands out to me is patience which really lead me to choosing the turtle as my spirit animal. This process allowed me to take the time to be self-aware and get a deeper understanding of the qualities I own which was completely new for me.

In this article, it states how global warming is getting very bad and Antarctica is at an all-time high for temperature.

For fact checking I made sure to go into the news section of Google and also used the fact-checker https://cse.google.com/ and lots of articles and facts proving this article was true came up.

My final response is that I believe this article is true.

1. What did you hear, see, smell, and feel in the work environment on Nov. 1st?

– Hear: It is a quiet office so u could only hear a few people talking, printers printing, keyboards tapping and a few phones ringing.

– See: In the office, I saw people working in private workspacesand two people working in the receptionist area.

– Smell: All it smelt like was coffee or nothing, so the smell was not exciting.

– Feel: U could feel the computers, chairs, windows, office equipment, etc.

2. What about the environment would motivate you to wake up every day to attend work?

– It is a nice calm workspace that would be easy to walk into in the morning because the noise level is exceptionally low.

3. What about the work environment would discourage you from waking up every day to attend work?

– It is a little boring so you may feel tired and unwanting to go sometimes.

4. What is ONE thing you found interesting about your workplace visit?

– I found it interesting that everyone had their very own workspace where I thought it would have been a shared one.
