My Employability Skills – Reflection

1) Review the Employability Skills listed, describe the skills you currently have and how you used them in the activities.

Today I used lots of different skills such as Teamwork & Working in Diverse Environments, Problem Solving & Critical Thinkin, Havig a good Attitude, Ability to Accept and Integrate Criticism and Feedback and finally Flexibility & Adaptability. Using these in my group we all managed to help each other understand and solve the problem and find a great way to work together.
I helped my group make decisions and participate with a great attitude. I also listened so that everyone felt included and I did my best to go out of my way to include others. I helped whoever needed help in our group and we discussed what strategies we must overcome our problem.
We tried to solve the human knot problem, and we didn’t succeed but we will be able to next time. Because we will have learnt from our mistakes and we will know what to do better next time, but we will also.

2) Discuss the skills that you would like to work on and what you can do to improve or practice them so that you are employable in the future.

Time management is very important to get stuff done. I usually start something thinking that I will have enough time but I usually end up running out. So to work on it I well before the deadline so I plan everything out. I always do my best to stay on track and focus on tasks. Employers look for someone that is a responsible and reliable witch is definitely me so it is great that I stay on track. It is also very important to work well with others wich I also learned during all the in-class activities.
