In physics 12, I developed my critical thinking by working on complex problems. In the tests, there were brand new questions that we never reviewed in class; however, by using the skills learned from past lessons, I was able to answer them correctly. Often times in real life, the answer to a problem is not always clear, so being able to analyze and investigate using prior knowledge is essential. I had to use similar strategies in math 12 when working with multiple different units together. Even thought the transformations unit is over, we still use it when working on later units like trigonometry and conics.
Next I will work on my communication. Collaborating with others will allow me to learn faster since it’s easier to study in a group. People can help each other when stuck and sometimes you retain information better when explaining it to someone else.
