In P.H.E. 9, when we were doing the figures unit and had to make a group routine, I demonstrated the core competency of communication to “collaborate to plan, carry out, and review constructions and activities.” I did this during the figures unit in a group with 4 other people. We were able to follow instructions and create a routine that included all 5 of us, combining our own strengths to make a functional set of figures and other gymnastics moves. Despite being restricted by having one of us missing for a day and getting an extra group member with only 1 day left, we were still able to finish our project and present to the class.
