Can the minimum wage catch up to the inflation?

I pick this topic because I want to know the connection between inflation and income. My goal is to tell people increasing minimum wage won’t cure the root of inflation. I choose gas price as my variable for inflation because it is a daily need item and it occupy almost 20% of people total income for most people. I use Canva for this project because it is easy to organize my idea on it. I gather my idea in Open Canada and Statcan. The process of extraction data of  these sites impacted my understanding of how technology can help the world. I never know you can get a set of specific data from a data source and download it as a excel file. This skill might be really useful in the future. Other than that, I learn excel is really useful for a huge amount of data.

 

 

 

Metaverse

Metaverse is a a popular topic now. the idea of metaverse first appeared in a novel called snow crash, published in 1992. It is an old idea, but what stops people from creating it? To create a metaverse, you would need a powerful network system and a sever with enough process power to run the graphics, AI, and physics. Under graphics and physics, you would need to calculate texture and lighting. with our technology right now, realistic real time rendering is still to advanced for us. Other than that, 5G network might able to handle the amount of data transfer in the metaverse. Therefore, metaverse might be a bit too early for us to archive.

With metaverse, our web will evolve from web 2.0 to web 3.0. In web 2.0, people can only upload content to the internet via a intermediate website. For example, YouTube’s sever would allow people to upload content using its services and let people browser from it. In web 3.0, uploading content would not require a intermediate anymore because of blockchain. By doing that, the you will not have to share your copy to others. Even if people manage to create a replica of you content, it won’t have the same value because the value of that item is store inside of that code of blockchain. This create NFT. Since from there on, no one would need a intermediate to organize their property, the power of banks and countries might get threaten. Will you invest your money in NFT in the future?

I want to research it because Light Yagami is a character in an anime called “death note”. People use this picture to joke around saying he is making the Japanese team win using the power of death note. I want to know if this person actually real or people just photoshop it.

his real name seems to be called Nishino

 

After that, I tried searching it up on snopes.com

there are nothing on it

bring your kids to work day

I went to my aunt workplace on “bring your kids to work day”.

My aunt is an interior designer. Her job is to design where the furniture goes inside the house for people. I chose my aunt workplace because I am interested in design industry. I tried to use the program they use in work and went to a showroom. Overall, the work environment is good. here are some pictures of the workplace:

I saw a bunch of samples laying on the ground. I can smell the wood. I can feel comfortable in it, everyone is friendly. they all talk freely while they are working. I want to work in a friendly, flexible, and environment. I hope people regencies my work and giving an equal return for my work. this motivates me to go to work.
