Block 4 assignment

Personal awareness and responsibility

In my P.E.9 class, we had to run the right, right, right three times and record our finishing time. Then, we had to make a flyer on about our times and feelings about our run and progression.I used Canva to make the flyer which i had never done before. There are lots of benefits such as presenting in my socials class next semester, or making another flyer for clubs I might join. There were many challenges ,luckily my peers were helping me all along while making the flyer.

The flyer

Take your kids to work day

.

I went to my mom’s apartment where she is a head-concierge.At the morning, she showed me around the place. Then,I interviewed the people working with my mom and took some photos after asking for permission. After lunch,my mom explained one of her job is to organise every event happening in this building in the calendar. Then I hand out some parking tickets with my mom in the underground parking lot where there are lots of illegal parking. We left after inspecting the place on last time.

1. What did you hear, see, smell, and feel in the work environment on Nov. 6th? Use details

I noticed the building has used many light colored and expensive materials to create a sentient and peaceful feeling. The space is filled with fresh air. This building is noticeably quiet, but according to my mom, it is normally busy.I hear chilling music at the desk welcoming people.

2. What about the environment would motivate you to wake up every day to attend work? Why?

All the people living and working here are kind and welcoming. Also, the environment is peaceful as the building is expensive.

3. What about the work environment would discourage you from waking up every day to attend work? Why?

The environment does not discourage me from waking up to attend work. However, having supervise the entire building every day is discouraging as it is tiring to patrol most of the building even once.

4. What is ONE thing you found interesting about your workplace visit? Why?Although the building is humongous and filled with many rooms, all the information and signs are well organised.
