an assignment that I am proud of from semester 1 is from my woodwork class. in my woodwork class, we were assigned the task of making a birdhouse. we had to pick out our own wood, cut it all to size, thickness plain it to size, then we had to cut it once more, then we had to sand the wood down so it was smooth and then next we had to glue and nail it all together. it took a long time and I worked really hard on it and that is why I am proud of it. another reason why I chose this assignment to talk about is because this is one of my favorite assignments that I did in semester 1. After all, I didn’t just have to sit around and write or draw I could actually do something that I enjoyed. also this is one of my woodwork projects because it turned out the best so I’m really proud of it. another reason why I am proud of this assignment is that my teacher gave me a perfect mark on it. this assignment taught me more about different types of wood and materials, but also how to use different power tools which i really enjoyed learning about. I am really proud of this assignment because it turned out really well and just how I wanted it to. I don’t have a picture to show you guys but I’m really proud that there are no gaps and the project is put together really well. I am also proud of how I managed to finish it before the deadline showing that I work hard in class and keep on task.
