The article I chose for this assignment is called ” Woman carries lion down Kuwait street after animal’s escape” It’s about a lion escaping from a local zoo and a woman finding him and carrying him hopefully back to the zoo. Did you know that in Kuwait exotic animals including lions are legal to be kept as pets. I chose this article because it’s not every day you see someone carrying a lion down the street and I found it interesting that someone would even try.

For my first step to see if the article is true I did some research on who wrote the article. I found out that the author is Ben Hooper.

Then I verified the author on twitter and found that he has a blue check mark next to his name so that means that he is a verified source.

Next, I am going to fact check the article. The website I used to fact check is called Snopes. So I put the article on Snopes to see if it was true. The article popped up and Snopes said the article is true and this really did happen

Next for my final step, I looked up the article on Google but added hoax to the end of the sentence. So I looked up “Woman carries lion down Kuwait street after animal’s escape hoax” When I looked up the article I found lots of evidence that this article is true.

In conclusion, after finding and reading all this information I can say this article is true.
